My First Bath

Today Maddie's belly button stump feel off, so we could give her an actual bath. She did great!! She liked being in the water. She didn't cry until we took her out, but once Brandon wrapped her in her towel and held her she was happy again. She sure loves her Daddy!!

Monday, September 17, 2007 Two Weeks Old

Today Maddie is 2 weeks old. She loved having her hair fixed today!!

Brandon and I think we may have a genious on our hands. The other day he and I were watch TV and we heard this noise coming from the baby monitor. We listened for a while and turns out the noise was Maddie clapping. Must be all the Baby Einstein CD's she listens too. They are making her super smart.

Then the next day, I was in the other room when I heard her crying. It was time for her to eat so, I went in our bed room to get her. When I reached into her bassenett I saw that she had her pacifier. I had not given it to her. It had been at the opposite end of the bassenett that she was facing. I was so excited. I coudn't belive that she had spun around found her pacifier and put it in her mouth then spun back to the way she had been laying. I was so excited telling her how smart she was and dancing around with her cheering, when Brandon busted out laughing. He was sleeping in our bed when she had started crying, so he had given her the pacifier then just layed there watching me as I reacted to her being so smart. It was pretty funny. He got me good.

The Raglands Came for a Visit

On Saturday, September 15, Uncle John, Aunt Deborah, and Cousins Laniey and John Stanley came to meet Maddie. She had so much fun. She can't wait until she is old enough to play with them. (Francie's brother and his family)

Yeah!! I am 1 Week Old....

Monday, September 10, 2007, Maddie turned 1 week old. Look she can even smile. (Brandon and I decided that she is smiling because getting her in the car seat is a challenge. We think she enjoys watching us struggle and Boy do we.) She is a squirmy, squirmy baby and likes to play.

Sept 6- The first family outting

Today the O'Donnell family went on our first outting. We went to the Pediatrican. Maddie is doing great. She is already back to her birth weight!! She was born a little jaundace, but the Dr. said she is looking much better.

The Dr. wanted to observe Maddie for 48 hours, so we didn't get to leave the hospital until after 9:24 on Sept 5.

Baby Maddie was born September 3, 2007 at 9:30PM. She weighed 8 lbs 1 oz and she is 20 1/2 inches long. She is doing really well and seems to be a very happy baby. Stubborn for sure. But I am pretty sure she comes by that honestly. :)
