Maddie's First Haircut

We took Maddie last week for her first hair cut. She looks so cute!! We went to a k ids cut place and she even got to sit in a police car while they cut her hair. How cool was that!!! She didn't like the cold water spray or having to wear the cape. They gave her some animal crackers and that made everything better!!

Maddie loves to go on rides in her car. Our neighborhood has sidewalks and not a lot of traffic, so it is great to take Maddie for little rides.

Sorry that it has been so long since I have updated the blog. Things have been wild. I am now in my 27th week of pregnancy, Maddie is 16 months old, We just moved into our first home, and Brandon is on the night shift.

I messed up and filmed the first few seconds of the video vertical instead of horizontal. Keep watching I change it so you can see better.

Maddie is really into dancing. Turn up your speakers. You will hear a familar tune. Her favorite song to dance to is the theme for Beverly Hills 90210. Please note the booty shaking that goes on!! When she waves her arm in the air she is trying to mimic snapping. Apparently, I am a snapper and she has learned to copy that. :)

Big News!!

Maddie is going to be a big sister April 28th!!!

Halloween 2008

We took Maddie to Trek or Treat in the park. She dressed up as a pink leopard.

I forgot to mention that Maddie is walking now. She started about a week after her 1st birthday. She is very fast. She loves to follow us as we walk, but she always follows too closely and when we stop she runs right into the backs of our legs, falls on the floor, laughs, and gets right back up. Very funny!!

Happy 28th Birthday, Brandon

On September 6 we had a birthday party for Maddie. We ate pizza and cake and had a lot of fun!!

She loves her new chair. It has a table with a lamp, a book, and some crayons on it. Everything sings, lights up and makes noise. She is in HEAVEN!!

Happy Birthday Maddie!!!

On September 3, Maddie turned one. We gave her a new kitchen. She LOVES it!!! One side of it is a kitchen and the other side is a family room.

She is 23.6 lbs and is in the 81 percentile for weight.

She loves to eat. ANYTHING!!

She is 29.5 inches in length and is in the 56 percentile for height.

She can say: Bye Bye, Night Night, Da Da, Ma Ma, Bannanna "Nanna", Bath, Uh-Oh.

She can wave Bye Bye, Blow kisses, and give you a "high 5". When she wants something to drink she clicks her toungue. So cute. She loves to brush her teeth. When we say "Maddie want to Brush teeth" she goes right to the bathroom and waits until we get there. We don't go anywhere without Blanket. She loves to laugh and is really into climbing. She does not like to sit in grass or play in the sand box. She loves to wait at the window and watch for Brandon to get home. When she see's his car she starts banging on the window.

Happy 2 Year Anniversary

On September 2, we celebrated our 2nd Wedding Anniversary. We went out to eat at O'Charley's to celebrate.

Maddie enjoyed herself. She propped her feet up waiting for someone to bring her some food!!

A quiet Maddie isn't always a good thing.

Our First Family Vacation!!

Maddie had fun walking with Uncle Max. Though she didn't get very far since she couldn't stop looking at him.

The Cousins

Atticus and Maddie had so much fun playing together. Atticus is 3 months older than Maddie. Why isn't Max in the photo?... Maddie ate him :)

We don't have stairs at our house, so Maddie had so much fun learning how to climb up stairs!! That is Atticus at the top of the picture waiting for her to hurry up and get up there with him.

Maddie and Brandon are sitting on the dock reading books. She fell off the dock right after this picture. Good thing the water under the dock was fake :)

We got to go to the children's museum with Max and Atticus. It was Maddie's first time to go to one. She loved it. Here we are in a big birds nest.

It worked out that we had an empty seat on our row so Maddie got to sit in her own seat. Which was really fun for her. She played with her toys, and stood up on the seat and waved at everyone behind us and tried to poke them through the seats. We thought it was funny, not sure what everyone else thought!!

Maddie liked to look out the window.

Maddie loved watching the planes outside and seeing all the people walking around out on the runway. She would bang on the window trying to get their attention.

At the end of July we flew out to Colorado to visit Jeannie and Max so Maddie could play with her cousins, Max and Atticus.
