Yeah!! I am 1 Week Old....

Monday, September 10, 2007, Maddie turned 1 week old. Look she can even smile. (Brandon and I decided that she is smiling because getting her in the car seat is a challenge. We think she enjoys watching us struggle and Boy do we.) She is a squirmy, squirmy baby and likes to play.

My first sponge bath

On Friday we gave Maddie her first sponge bath. Here she is in her pink puppy towel.

I thought my biggest problem would be losing the baby weight. Looks like my feet are giving my belly a run for the money :)

Sept 6- The first family outting

Today the O'Donnell family went on our first outting. We went to the Pediatrican. Maddie is doing great. She is already back to her birth weight!! She was born a little jaundace, but the Dr. said she is looking much better.

The Dr. wanted to observe Maddie for 48 hours, so we didn't get to leave the hospital until after 9:24 on Sept 5.

Baby Maddie was born September 3, 2007 at 9:30PM. She weighed 8 lbs 1 oz and she is 20 1/2 inches long. She is doing really well and seems to be a very happy baby. Stubborn for sure. But I am pretty sure she comes by that honestly. :)
